RAD Classes

We now have RAD Classes for both Women and Men. The women's course is called, "Rape Aggression Defense." The men's course is, "Resisting Aggression with Defense." Please see below for further.

Rape Aggression Defense System

link to main R.A.D. homepageThe Rape Aggression Defense System is a program of realistic, self-defense tactics and techniques. The R.A.D. System is a comprehensive course for women that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance, while progressing on to basic hands-on defense training.

R.A.D. is not a Martial Arts program. Our courses are taught by certified R.A.D. Instructors and provide you with a reference manual to work from. This manual outlines the entire Physical Defense Program for reference and continuous personal growth.

The R.A.D. System of Physical Defense is currently being taught at many Colleges and Universities. The growing, wide-spread acceptance of this system is primarily due to the ease, simplicity and effectiveness of our tactics, solid research, legal defensibility and unique teaching methodology.

Moms and Daughters RAD Class

We now offer a Moms and Daughters RAD course that is age-appropriate for girls in middle and high school. Mothers pair with their older daughters in creating safety plans for schools, riding in cars with their friends, bullying behavior, and what red flags to look for when they start dating. As girls become more independent, their defensive-mindset needs to grow. The mother-daughter format will help open up conversational points between them so that safety planning can be a joint effort.

If the weapon fails to work (and it may), they learn the proven backup strategies needed for successful escape. Stop believing a manufacturers selling hype. At the end of the course, students will understand the usefulness and limits of the aerosol defense weapon, laws regarding its use, and have ample opportunity to practice both with the aerosol defense weapon and their own personal weapons.
